The Reading Lab offers a reinforcement program for those students who would benefit from some additional support in a small group setting with more individual attention. In these groups the students preview and/or review the specific vocabulary, phonics, and comprehension skills that are being taught as part of the regular grade level curriculum in their classrooms. At times, when needed, they may work on skills from a prior level. In addition, some students may be doing specific activities to help increase fluency. Students are placed in these groups by teacher recommendation after considering their classroom performance and test scores such as the Terra Nova, MAP, Benchmark, and fluency.
