Christ the King School’s performing arts program consists of band, choir, and a musical production. Through performance, students develop their artistic, expressive, presentation, and group/social skills. Being part of a larger community offers opportunities for students to collaborate with like-minded students on large-scale endeavors. Our performance arts program has a reputation of excellence and rigor.
Band and choir (fifth through eighth grade) rehearse during the school day and have multiple performances throughout the year, during the school day and after, on- and off-site.
Each spring, CKS middle school students produce a musical. Any student in middle school may audition. The musical highlights many layers of performance and art through acting, singing, dancing, design, and creative technologies.
