Stephanie Hall, Instructional Specialist & success program director

Stephanie Hall is the Instructional Specialist and Success Program Director at Christ the King. She has an undergraduate degree in Special Education from Bellarmine College and a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville. She joined the staff in 2009 with 14 years of public school teaching and administrative experience in the field of Special Education. Mrs. Hall has additional experience teaching and coordinating reading tutorial programs for dyslexic students in both Louisville and Frankfort. She is a certified Dyslexia Screener and Consultant. She coordinates the Raising the Bar Program for dyslexic students which utilizes the Barton Reading and Spelling Program. Mrs. Hall also teaches Learning Strategies classes for 5th through 8th grades and coordinates all other academic support services. She offers consultation for student with special needs and writes accommodation plans. She is a mentor for John Paul II House.

Marcia Harp, Reading Specialist

Mrs. Harp has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten endorsement from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master’s Degree with a Reading Specialist endorsement from the University of Kentucky. She is a teacher in the Raising the Bar Program.Mrs. Harp is also coordinator of the Accelerated Reader program, serves on the Environmental Committee at CKS, and is a mentor/advisor for Xavier House.

Kathy Dwyer, Instructional Specialist

Ms. Dwyer has a BA degree and a Masters of Arts degree in Education. She has been named to Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, was awarded the Kentucky Science Teachers Association’s 2006 Middle School Science Teacher of the Year, and named “A Teacher Who Made A Difference” by the University of Kentucky. In 2014, she earned her certificate to be a Dyslexia Consultant. Ms. Dwyer joined the Success Program team as an instructional specialist in 2015. She teaches Learning Strategies, tutors students in the Raising the Bar program using the Barton Reading and Spelling System, and directs the Raising the Bar- After School program. She also serves on the Environmental Committee at CKS.
