Parents AND TEACHERS Working Together FOR Student Growth

Dear CKS Families,

Welcome to the 2019-20 school year and to your CKS PTO. We are very excited for the upcoming year! My name is Megan Giles, and I am your incoming CKS PTO President. As a parent/guardian of a CKS student, you are automatically a member of the CKS PTO – an organization established to facilitate the educational efforts of our teachers and staff through a continuum of volunteer and fundraising opportunities.

One of the most appealing attributes of our school and parish is the sense of community provided to each and every child who walks through our doors. We hope that you will also discover our sense of community through active involvement within our church and school.Service to others and stewardship are two tenants of our faith foundation; they are also woven into the everyday teachings of our Christ the King School.

Below is a link to a listing of volunteer opportunities will help you navigate this upcoming school year. Please consider this an open invitation to get involved in your child’s classroom and school. We are truly appreciative of those of you who are already involved, and we look forward to working with you, as well as our new volunteers. It is your dedication and generosity that make CKS a wonderful place for our children to learn and grow. Not only will you be helping our children, but being involved in the CKS PTO is a great way to meet other families.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns (859-481-5052 or via e-mail). Thank you for your dedication to our Christ the King Community!

Sincerely,

Megan E. Giles and your CKS PTO
